The Bonners Ferry - Boundary County Good News
Once again I find myself sitting here thinking about starting a blog. I have wanted to start a blog for several months now but; so far all I have accomplished is drumming up a lot ideas with absolutely no plan of action. I could continue in this rut forever……..
I usually consider myself to be pretty internet savvy and I have spent quite a bit of time polishing those skills with courses, books, and of course internet research. I have learned so much which I have not yet put into action. (Sometimes a girl get’s so boggled about where to start that she just doesn’t start at all.)
That was until that day…. I was meeting with a friend/business associate of mine during a regular conversation brainstorming over a cup of Java when low and behold my much less computer savvy friend says “I am thinking about starting a blog.” He proceeded to ask me about my thoughts and asked for any advice I might be able to provide him.
That’s when I decided it’s now or never. I am a little competitive by nature and I can’t let him get started before me!!! So here it goes.
WHAT IS THIS BLOG ABOUT????
I once had a coworker who after reading the paper said….If only they would write a paper about the good news. I thought about that and realized that we are continually bombarded with “Bad News”. Don’t get me wrong it’s important to be informed of the bad news and I am sure that regrettably there will be times that you will some of that here, but MY GOAL IS TO GIVE THE “BONNERS FERRY – BOUNDARY COUNTY GOOD NEWS”
My desire is to start a Bonners Ferry Community blog. I want to encourage community influence. This is to be a site for the people of Boundary County to share information, community events, ask questions, etc… Please feel free to post!!!! I will also start a community calendar to use in conjunction with this blog. When you post upcoming events I will add them to the calendar.

This is my business website and of course my goal is to promote business, so I will be posting real estate information from time to time. I will try to make the information informative for you. This blog is not POLITICAL… although there are times when I will inform you of local issues, it is not my intention for this to be a political site and I will try to keep my political views to myself.
This blog is not RELIGIOUS…however please feel free to post your church events, times of service etc…. That information will be added to the community calendar. However; do not use this forum to push your political or religious agendas.
This blog is not THE BAD NEWS…I want as much as possible to stick to THE GOOD NEWS, please do not attempt to post unfortunate events. If there is a benefit for someone in need by all means post it, if one of our local sports teams loses a game, again post the score and provide some positive highlights….you get the picture.

Please feel free to post an answer or comment in response to other’s post. If someone asks a question and you have information to provide them PLEASE DO SO. I hope to get as much involvement as I can and keep this fun.

Also please remember that I will NOT post every message I receive. I will try to post all of them however if the message is political in nature, disparaging to ANYBODY in any way, or does not lead to the general purpose of this site as stated above, I will not post it.
